The Backstory:
A photograph is not complete until it has been printed, framed, and hung on the wall. Being the final step, that also means this is the point at which a photograph has been perfected and is truly meant to be seen. The reality is you simply can’t enjoy a photograph on screen the way you can on physical paper—screens vary from smartphones, to computers, to television monitors, each differing in resolution, color, brightness, and contrast. The only guarantee that you are seeing exactly what the artist envisioned is through print. It’s the final product of the artist’s vision. That being said, I only truly finish a few photographs because I don’t have unlimited wall space. So that’s where YOU come into play! As a customer, you get the opportunity to bring the beauty and awe of the untamed wilderness into your home or office space. Photographs that will inspire within you that “child’s” curiosity and adventurous spirit for the outdoors. You also get the opportunity to help me finish the creation process of photography and be a part of a small group of people who will ever see my work as it’s truly meant to be seen: on paper with fine tuned colors, and contrast meticulously crafted for your delight.
Selling limited edition prints of my photographic art has been a dream of mine since I was merely 13 years old and just getting started. That dream has only grown since. The problem was back then, I wasn’t confident in my work (rightly so, as it was not comparable with what I’m able to offer today). I struggled to see the significance of it: back then my work lacked story, it lacked emotion, and it lacked that transcending beauty and wonder I so often strive to capture nowadays. However, that belief is no longer a dark cloud over my head, it has, since dissipated. After years of hard work, tuning my craft—from field work like composition and technical competence, to further illustrating a story with post-processing, to perfecting the printing and framing process—I’m finally ready to offer you something truly special. Something I’m confident you will love and that will give you joy as you pass by it mounted on your wall.
