On March 26, 2024, deep into a lonely road trip across the American West, I found myself in that place. Numb and emotionally drained, I sat in my car beneath a grey Arizona sky, the rain tapping on the roof like a metronome for my emptiness.
Then—light. A sudden pink glow traced the edge of my steering wheel. I looked up to find the storm parting, revealing a sky ablaze with gold and a radiant rainbow stretching across the desert.
