This film documents a solo backpacking journey through Washington’s Olympic Peninsula — hiking from the lush, rain-soaked Hoh Rainforest to the high alpine terrain beneath Blue Glacier. On the surface, this is an adventure film about movement, endurance, and wild places. But beneath the miles and scenery, it’s also a story about doubt, loneliness, and learning how to keep going without certainty. As a landscape photographer, I came out here to explore and to create. What I didn’t expect was how much space the quiet would make — especially at the end of the day, when the light fades and the questions grow louder.
